Samsung’s 130-Inch Micro RGB TV is World’s First, Dominates CES 2026

Samsung strolled into CES 2026 with a TV that immediately grabs your attention, and rightfully so. Their new 130-inch Micro RGB TV, the R95H model, is the single largest display of its kind ever created. The moment you enter the exhibition area, you can’t help but perform a double take as you see the monster of a screen measuring over 10 feet diagonally and filling a whole wall.

The Micro RGB technology is what really gives this display so much oomph. The backlight layer has thousands of tiny red, green, and blue LEDs, each burning independently to create a pure, true color on the go, which is what offers you richer, more lifelike shades than typical LED setups. Samsung integrates this technology into their processors, including the Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, Color Booster Pro, and HDR Pro. These smart technologies are constantly detecting what’s on screen and altering contrast, tone, and details in real time to produce lifelike results, with dazzling highlights and deep shadows that seem just perfect.

This model takes the color game to a whole new level by practically encompassing the entire BT.2020 colour space, a pro standard utilized in professional mastering. VDE, an impartial group, tested it and awarded it a thumbs up, claiming that the colors are as true and lifelike as possible. Even with extremely high overhead lights in the space, reflections are not an issue because to a special glare-free coating they applied.

If you have HDR content, you’ll be pleased to know that the R95H supports HDR10+ Advanced, a new update that Samsung is introducing to its whole 2026 lineup. This means that brightness and detail stand out in each scene, providing a whole new level of realism. Then there’s the design, as Samsung revisited an old concept from 2013 dubbed Timeless Gallery and modernized it as the Timeless Frame. This robust border that wraps around the screen like a large window frame gives the panel the appearance of floating when installed or on the included metal stand. That platform allows you to tilt it slightly to achieve the ideal viewing angle. Eclipsa Audio improves the sound system by uniformly projecting sound to meet the large screen area.

In terms of smart features, the current Tizen operating system takes the lead, with seven years of improvements to look forward to. There’s even a Vision AI Companion that allows you to ask the TV for help or suggestions, as well as unique sports viewing modes, auto sound modifications, live translation, and interaction with applications such as Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity.
