LEGO Icons Shopping Street Set (11371) Puts a Fresh Angle on the Modular Tradition
![]()
LEGO is kicking off 2026 with set 11371, Shopping Street, a 3,456-piece masterpiece of a set that has recently been introduced to the Icons Modular Buildings Collection and is priced at $249.99. This model is currently available for purchase and built on a regular 32×32 baseplate, but it breaks away from the norm by including a fully asymmetrical arrangement that connects seamlessly on both sides.
The inspiration for this set came from a range of classic European districts, and the added personal touches give it a particular character, resulting in two connected structures separated by the shortest of corridors. One of the buildings is a towering white structure with gorgeous sand green highlights; it houses Brickleys Music Shop on the lower two levels and a little flat on the top. The large windows are trimmed in bright blue, and a classic brick-built trumpet sign hangs above the entry.

Right next to it is a little brown furniture shop with natural tones and slightly uneven walls. Up on the roof, there’s a lovely little garden with potted plants and a pigeon coop, and the alley between them is just hiding a whole lot of fun, a burst pipe with these great translucent blue elements, and a plumber fixing the problem, complete with a rat trying to chomp on the pipe to which it’s attached.

To see the packed interiors, open up the hinged parts. The music shop on the bottom floor houses several excellent brick-built wind instruments, including trumpets, trombones, a gorgeous sousaphone made from macaroni tubes, French horns, and a clarinet or two. If you proceed upstairs, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the abundance of percussion equipment, such as drums, cymbals, and stands.

Up in the music building, there is a charming little apartment with a bed, an armchair, a radio, a table, and even a tiny bathroom tucked away in the bay window. If you look closely, you can find all sorts of hidden treasures, such as a rodent stockpile of cheese in the cupola or a garbage full of old furniture out back.

Seven minifigures bring the scene to life, featuring twin marching band members shopping for instruments, wearing purple shako helmets with a Billund crest. You also have a plumber mending the leak, a carpenter working upstairs, and a shopper on crutches who adds some vital representation to the cast. The rest of the crew consists of the music shop owner, a delivery guy, and another customer. On the roof, there are two dual-molded pigeons, as well as a magnificent cat statue that sits proudly on the plaza.
