Electric motorcycles have grown in popularity over the years, offering the quiet operation and rapid power you’d expect. To be honest, most models simply lack the range to keep up with longer trips when compared to fire-breathing gas-powered bikes, but Verge Motorcycles of Finland intends to change that with the release of their new TS Pro. This bike is powered by a solid-state battery that charges at an incredible rate, resulting in some serious game-changing competition.
The heart of this monster is a 33.3 kWh battery pack, which Verge created in collaboration with Donut Lab. This battery is the real deal, as it uses a solid electrolyte rather than a liquid, resulting in energy density of around 400 watt-hours per kilogram. What does this mean for you? In city conditions, the TS Pro can travel up to 370 miles on a single charge, or approximately 196 miles on the highway. I know that prior Verge models got roughly 217 miles on a smaller battery, but this one nearly doubles the real-world range.

Charging? Not an issue. Plugging this bike into a 200 kW DC fast charger will give you 186 miles of range in just 10 minutes. According to some estimates, a complete charge can take as little as 5 minutes if you’re in the right location. Not to mention, the battery is rated for up to 100,000 cycles, so it should outlast the bike with little wear and tear.

The motor is also rather impressive to say the least, as it’s a patented hubless back motor built right into the wheel rim, with no chains or belts to clog things up and no unattractive spokes to obstruct the view. This gives the bike a pristine, almost extraterrestrial appearance. It produces 137 horsepower and an impressive 737 pound-feet of torque, helping it accelerate from zero to sixty in only 3.5 seconds, while the top speed is electronically limited to 124 miles per hour. Recent updates have made the motor a whopping 50% lighter without losing any oomph.

Handling has also been a major emphasis for engineers. The bike weighs 518 pounds, but its low center of gravity from the battery arrangement makes it feel rock solid on the road. The Öhlins or Wilbers suspension is completely adjustable, with front and rear travel of 4.72 and 4.17 inches, respectively. And when you need to stop, the Brembo brakes are up to the task, with dual front discs and a massive peripheral rear disc – all supported by ABS and regenerative braking, which feeds power back into the battery when you brake.

There are several modes to choose from, including Range for efficiency, Zen for cruising, Beast for the ultimate adrenaline rush, and Custom for complete control over torque, speed limitations, and regen. As an added plus, you get heated grips, cruise control, a small storage compartment, and adjustable foot pegs to ensure the perfect riding position. Don’t worry about keeping the bike up to current; over-the-air software updates via the Starmatter platform allow them to quickly bring out improvements and diagnostics to your bike.

Prices begin at $29,900 for the standard model, with certain special editions and options reaching about $34,900 before taxes and fees. Orders are currently open, with delivery slated to begin in the first quarter of 2026.
