The 2026 PDC World Darts Championship final is tonight, with Luke Littler aiming to win back-to-back titles against first-time finalist Gian van Veen.

World No.1 Littler has cruised to a third-straight final at Alexandra Palace, defeating Ryan Searle 6-1 in his semi-final on Friday night.

While the Ally Pally crowd have been somewhat hostile toward the 18-year-old, The Nuke could become the first person to win consecutive championships since Gary Anderson a decade ago.

Meanwhile, Van Veen has enjoyed a sensational run at this tournament, thrashing world No.2 Luke Humphries 5-1 in the quarter-finals before beating Anderson in style in the semis.

The Giant is the third Dutchman to reach the WDC final, following in the footsteps of legends Michael van Gerwen and Raymond van Barneveld.

Aged just 23 and already European and back-to-back World Youth Champion, could Van Veen vs Littler be the beginning of a new generational rivalry in darts?

Here’s everything you need to know about the 2026 PDC World Darts Championship final, including start time, TV channel, prize money and Littler’s head-to-head record against Van Veen.

While Littler boasts a superior head-to-head record against most players in the word, that is not the case with Van Veen.

The Nuke and The Giant have faced each other six times before tonight, winning three matches apiece.

They first met in the final of the 2023 PDC World Youth Championship where Littler triumphed 6-4, just weeks before taking the darts world by storm and reaching the final of the WDC final.

The rest of their matches occurred in 2025, with the Nuke victorious at the UK Open and their most recent meeting at the World Grand Prix in October.

Two of Van Veen’s wins came on the European Tour, as well as behind-closed-doors at the Players Championship 5.
