Anker SOLIX E10 Smart Hybrid Whole-Home Backup System is First of its Kind, Includes Power Module

With the launch of their E10 whole-home backup system, Anker SOLIX allows homeowners to keep the lights on, the fridge running, and the air conditioning humming. This all-in-one solution combines the power of battery storage, solar panels, and a generator.
The system is built around its well-designed Power Module. It functions as an inverter, linked with 6kWh modular battery packs. Begin with something basic and add more as needed, then chain three units to generate up to 90kWh of power. On its own, a unit produces a steady 7.7kW, but with a burst of power, it increases to 37.2kW, which is sufficient to run a powerful air conditioner. You can switch it to turbo mode, and one unit will generate 10kW for 90 minutes, which is enough to cover the highest loads during peak hours. When you plug two devices together, the surge increases to 66kW.

Each device can receive up to 9kW of power from almost any brand of solar panel, allowing you to keep your existing investment. If you already have solar panels, good news: they work and don’t need to be replaced. When your solar panels create excess power, it powers the house or charges the batteries, reducing your reliance on the grid.

When the batteries run low and the clouds move in, the optional tri-fuel Smart Generator activates. It may run on gasoline, propane, or natural gas and charges the batteries directly through the Power Module. Unlike standard AC generators, this direct method saves fuel and provides up to five times the run duration for the same amount of electricity. It’s a terrific choice if you’re out and about and the power goes out. When the sun comes out or the grid is restored, the generator will automatically turn off.

During a grid failure, the Power Dock can restore power in as little as 20 milliseconds. Your lights remain on, your wireless router does not reset, and your medical equipment continues to function normally. The Smart Inlet Box, a somewhat simpler solution, performs the same thing but requires you to turn a switch to do so, but it still provides whole-house coverage.

It is very simple to install; there is no need to wait weeks for a skilled electrician to come out and back up your home. Anker can do it for you nationwide, or if self-installation is preferred, wall or floor mounting kits in weatherproof enclosures certified from -4°F to 131°F can be purchased separately.

Prices start at $4,299 for the base model, which includes the Power Module and one battery. You can get the Smart Inlet Box for $4,599, the Power Dock for $5,799, or the entire package with the generator and Power Dock for $7,399. Pre-orders begin in mid-January 2026, and sales will begin in early February; if you place a deposit, you can even receive discounts and extras like as a free solar panel.
