Review: Jonathan Bennett hosts ‘Finding Mr. Christmas’ Season 2 Reunion Special

Actor and TV host Jonathan Bennett (“Mean Girls”) hosted his “Finding Mr. Christmas” Season 2 Reunion Special, which aired on December 21st on Hallmark.

Craig Geoghan was crowned the winner of “Finding Mr. Christmas” Season 2.

All 10 of this year’s finalists reunited in this special episode, where they shared some behind-the-scenes stories and positive experiences.

The Season 2 contestants were: Rustin Sailors, Jake Schum, Davey Fisher, Robbie Simpson, Marcus Brodie, Craig Geoghan, Logan Shephard, Drake Kuyper, Gabriel Thaxton, and Angel Garet.

Each person was given their chance to shine and be highlighted.

Jake Schum, who went home first, was able to share what his next Hallmark-related project was (one that hit close to home with him, being a former NFL star).

Drake Kuyper, who went home after Jake, was praised for his height and nice hair, and stated that he will keep pursuing acting opportunities.

This segment featured a surprise appearance from judge Melissa Peterman, who brought in gifts to celebrate some of her favorite moments from the season.

Davey Fisher and Gabriel Thaxton showcased some of their impressive moves from the season, while Marcus Brodie was complimented for his bright smile.

Robbie Simpson, the sole LGBTQ contestant in Season 2, shared some of his favorite “Festive Face-Off” challenges this season (and wins), and expressed how proud he was of the experience, and for everybody else who competed alongside him.

Peterman joked that Rustin Sailors and Logan Shepard traded facial hairs. Logan who was clean up this season, sported a beard in this special. Ironically enough, Rustin revealed that he was playing Elvis Presley in a project (so he had to lose the facial hair).

All contestants underscored the strong brotherhood they formed featuring friendships that will last a lifetime.

They also opened up how they found Hallmark’s leading ladies (Sharon Lawrence, Erin Krakow, Alison Sweeney, Hunter King, Ashley Williams, and Heather Hemmens) to be very helpful, kind, and comforting. They all concurred that they are very giving actresses.

Craig Geoghan, who hails from Lake Ronkonkoma (Long Island), discussed his experience filming his first-ever Hallmark movie as a lead opposite Hunter King (as part of his win).

Angel Garet shared some exclusive news in his personal life (that everybody congratulated him for).

Towards the end of this special, Rustin treated everyone to a neat holiday tune, which resonated with all.
