LEGO Reveals First-Ever Pokemon Sets, Includes Pikachu, Charizard, and Blastoise

New LEGO Pokemon Sets 2026
A long-awaited partnership between The LEGO Group and The Pokémon Company has resulted in buildable Pokémon sets that are specifically targeted at the franchise’s adult fan base. The 30th anniversary celebrations of the Pokémon franchise begin on February 27, 2026, which is also the date this collaboration will be released. Pre-orders are now available on January 12, 2026, via the LEGO website, LEGO Stores, and a few additional retailers.

Leading the way are three top sets that aim to capture renowned Pokémon in exquisite detail with the added benefit of poseability for showcasing your building skills. Minifigures are absent from all of these sets because these life-sized Pokémon are ready to be displayed, or so we think. The complexity of these sets is reflected in the price tags, which start out fairly low and have a few different pricing points to accommodate varied budgets.

First, Eevee is available as a reasonably priced set of 587 pieces at $59.99 (€59.99, £54.99 in other markets). With its moveable head, arms, and tail, this 7.5-inch-tall figure allows you to add some personality to Eevee, whether it be in a relaxed or more energetic stance. Additionally, the kit includes an app that makes it easy to share the construction with your friends and work together.

Pikachu is next, but this time it comes in a proper set with 2,050 pieces and a hefty price tag of $199.99 (€199.99, £179.99). This one allows you to replicate the iconic “caught it!” moment when Pikachu emerges from a Poké Ball with movable limbs and ears.”moment” or simply one of Pikachu’s several enjoyable stances. Additionally, Pikachu’s Pokédex entry, #25, can be seen thanks to a little base beneath the Poké Ball that adds a little liveliness and a few minor characteristics. When all is said and done, you have a 13.5-inch-tall construction that is really simply an amazing showcase piece.

The three fully evolved Kanto starters (Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise) come together in the largest build of the group, an incredible 6,838-piece set that costs $649.99 (€649.99, £579.99). For your mythological haul, you can have all three of the Pokémon standing alone or grouped together on an epic foundation that is essentially a common terrain. Each Pokémon receives full sculpting treatment and ample of articulation to go along with it. The base’s very tasteful use of biome-inspired details, such as grassy bits for Venusaur, volcanic bits for Charizard, and water bits for Blastoise, will add some real flair if you’re really interested in getting into the specifics. And that’s not even mentioning the hidden Easter eggs you can find if you really dig in. To top it all off, this enormous structure is 20 inches tall and 21 inches wide, placing it in the upper echelon of LEGO display pieces.

Two more small bonuses have been added to the mix to make the launch sweeter. The 312-piece Kanto Region Badge Collection (set 40892) is a small gift that can be purchased with the large Kanto set at LEGO.com and retail locations starting on February 27. It is available until March 3 (or 8 in certain locations) while supplies last. The draw of this one is that it comes with a large display case that can accommodate all eight Kanto badges, each of which is detachable and fastened by a Poké Ball-shaped catch. Additionally, if you’re a member of LEGO Insiders, you have a little advantage over us: beginning on February 27, you can exchange 2,500 points for the 233-piece Mini Pokémon Center (set 40911), which allows you to construct a minuscule shop that is essentially a life-size replica of the one in the games, complete with a computer, seats, and a healing station.
