Boston Dynamics Atlas Spot Holidays 2025
Boston Dynamics continues their annual tradition of unique videos that somehow manage to combine cutting-edge robotics with genuine holiday spirit. The business has just released a new clip for 2025 titled “Happy Holidays from Boston Dynamics | 2025,” and it just works. This time, they gathered together their cutting edge humanoid robot, Atlas 2.0, and the quadruped Spot.

It’s worth mentioning that these robots are being remotely operated (teleoperated) by humans, giving Boston Dynamics the precise control needed to make the machines appear to move effortlessly. Spot begins with wandering through a vintage-themed holiday room from another era.

Spot does a good job of navigating the entire scene, evading props and so. That said, these two would definitely not look out of place in an old-fashioned holiday variety show. Then, just as you’re getting comfortable, Atlas steps towards Spot to grab a cup from its outstretched robotic arm, possibly to fill with eggnog for their human operators.

The movie is short and sweet, lasting just over 35-seconds, but Boston Dynamics does an excellent job of presenting it as a holiday greeting, wishing everyone well and hoping for a good upcoming year. We didn’t forget about their Stretch robot picking up an extra shift at the Gap warehouse either.
