ASUS ProArt x GoPro Laptop Teased Ahead of CES 2026, Might be Most Rugged from Company Yet

ASUS ProArt x GoPro Laptop CES 2026
ASUS, a laptop manufacturer, and GoPro, purveyors of action cameras, are collaborating to create something unique: a ProArt laptop with GoPro branding. That device, known as the ProArt GoPro Edition, is still under wraps, but ASUS will reveal it in full at their CES 2026 livestream on January 6th at 9 a.m. Pacific Standard Time.

A brief teaser clip from ASUS provides the clearest view we’ve had so far of the laptop’s design, and it appears to be both portable and durable. They’ve taken a cue or two from GoPro’s action cameras, with a design that sports the unique vertical lines on the lid as well as some noticeable GoPro branding. There’s even a dedicated GoPro button on the keyboard that could allow you to quickly access the GoPro app, start a new film, or activate the StoryCube tool.

That said, the collaboration between the two actually began in October 2025, when they integrated GoPro Cloud into ASUS’s StoryCube software, a tool that goes through your film for you, grouping clips together by time, location, or even the type of activity you’re shooting. It also allows you to handle 360-degree video previews and even crop shots before uploading them to your preferred editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro or CapCut.

ASUS is clearly trying for ruggedness with this design, as ProArt laptops like the P16 have previously passed military-grade tests for drops, dust, and severe temperatures. We don’t know the full hardware specifications yet, but access to GoPro Premium+ for cloud storage and other features, could be included. The goal was to produce a laptop ideal for people who work outdoors by combining ASUS’s focus on creative hardware with GoPro’s experience building rugged gear.
